Briefly About John Mclellan
After leaving school in 1972 my career began processing colour transparency films for commercial photographers in London’s west end.
In 1973 I was an assistant photographer in a studio preparing and shooting merchandise for catalogues in central London.
1974 was when I moved into press photography as a staff photographer working on local newspapers in Essex.
1990 saw me becoming a freelance photographer working for national newspapers at home and abroad. I also took on additional PR, advertising and marketing assignments drawing on my experience working at the London studio.
